Perse School For Girls

As part of a major building project at Perse School for Girls a new multi-purpose food servery counter was installed. The servery has a Silestone counter top inlaid with stainless steel stud tray run and features, under counter LED lighting, hot and cold display sections, roll under hot cupboards, salad bars, water and plate dispensers and additional storage space – giving the catering team the flexibility to create and serve a wide and varied, weekly changing menu. The white fronted, custom made, horse shoe-shaped counter with matching lowered ceiling incorporating overhead lighting, has direct access to the kitchen. The flexible configuration of the counter means, the hot food bains marie section can be covered over with coordinating insets allowing for ambient usage. This will proves particularly useful when the school is hosting parent evenings, theatrical events and open days - where refreshments need to be served. This multi-function element of the counter enables the dining hall to double up as a genuine hospitality venue and creates an all day recreational area for pupils and staff.
