The Brief
When St Marys Hospital in Kettering were ready to update their current restaurant servery, they chose to team up with Whitco Catering & Bakery Equipment Ltd and Victor Manufacturing to deliver a functional and ergonomic solution.
The site staff provided valuable input into how they wanted the existing area to be improved. After listening to the client’s requirements, we created a layout that provided the functionality and desired finish within budget.
The Equipment
‘L’ Shaped Food Service Counter
Food service and Cashier counter complete with the below units as well as additional equipment by others:
- SER120E Enclosed Refrigerated Display
- SSHBW5Z 5 Pan Synergy Heated Bains Marie
- SSRMT3Z Synergy 3 GN Three Tier Multideck
- BTC4Z Carvery Topper
- Heated Soup Well
Finished in horizontal woodgrain laminate and pure white Corian tops.
Stand Alone Section
A satellite cutlery and condiment unit containing:
- DRAC2 – 2 x 2/3GN containers and 6 x Cutlery containers
This drop-in module is mounted into an ambient hinged door cupboard base with internal base and mid shelf.
The Result
The installation took 3 days, with work being undertaken out of hours to minimise disruption.
The area now provides a refreshed offering that is clean, easy to navigate makes the most of the space available.
