The Brief

Part of the Beale Hotels collection, West Lodge Park is a 4-star country house hotel on the outskirts of London.

Victor were employed by Gratte Brothers to undertake the update to the hotels buffet counter.

The brief for this project was to blend the new counter with the existing features, to stay in keeping with the aesthetic of the traditional breakfast room.

The Equipment

The breakfast bar counter was updated in keeping with the traditional breakfast room setting.

We worked with the customer to salvage existing timber Fascias where possible on the main bar.

A new plate dispenser section was manufactured with plain laminate fascia panel to all four sides in Formica Acajou Mahogany to blend with existing finishes.

The completed area comprised of:

  • 20mm Giallo Veneziano granite tops with square polished edge detail
  • 1 x DHHP4X Ceran Top Hot Plate with Gantry
  • 1 x WDRCC4D Contact Cooled Frost Top
  • 2 x Plate Dispensers (Built In)

The installation of the granite frost top breakfast buffet at West Lodge Park by Victor and their team proceeded without a hitch two years ago and has been in daily use ever since. Frost top refrigeration is the ideal solution for hotel buffets, as they are easy to wipe down, and present food such as fruits, salads, yoghurts, juices etc so much better than the old, refrigerated wells, which were difficult for customers to reach into, and difficult for staff to clean. We have been pleased with this installation and would recommend it to other hotels as a great solution for the cold food part of any buffet, whether for breakfast, conference lunch, restaurant, or function.
