The Clocktower Cafe

The Brief

After asking customers for feedback on the serviceability of The Clock Tower Café, the team at Sewerby Hall made the decision to redesign the café counter layout to improve traffic flow and speed up service time.

Victor had previously supplied standalone Condiment, Waste and Tray Trolley Units through ATL Commercial Kitchens and were pleased to be asked to support the ATL team with this larger scale revamping project.

The Equipment

Finishes

• Speckled Black (Negro Tebas) Polished 20mm Silestone worktop with square polished and 3mm arris edges.
• MDF panels with vertical V groove detail Painted to RAL code: 7032 with matching laminate faced panels in high traffic areas.
• Stainless Steel kick plinths to all sides.

Bespoke Nexus Micromarket Housing

• 1 x Maxiline 100VMT-P-GY Multideck Fridge (W1000mm x D750mm x H1950mm)
• 1 x Evolution Plus SERT60SW Upright Fridge (W600mm x D750 mm x H1950 mm)
• Bespoke upright shelving section enclosed by a colour matched door.

Service Counter

• Mobile plain topped ambient section with single switch socket outlet and cable port to supply countertop equipment (by others) and enclosed by side hung door.
• 2 x Evolution SER90E Assisted Service Display Fridges – Rear venting model with black PCS body panel.
• Counter till section with rounded edge to 2 corners with open ambient shelving below with double socket and data point.
• Corner counter section with angled edge to the operator’s side with open ambient shelving below with double socket.

The Result

The addition of the separate Nexus retail area accommodates two large display retail fridges to offer pre-packaged sandwiches, snacks, and drinks.

Within the main café counter extension, the Evolution serve over display fridges showcase the wide selection of cakes and tray bakes.
